There is one God (Mal 2:10; Mk 12:32; 1 Cor 8:6; 1 Tim 2:5) who manifests Himself as three persons: God the Father, The Lord Jesus Christ -- the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Mat 3:16-17; Mk 1:10-11; Jn 14:16-17; Jn 14:26; Jn 15:26; 1 Jn 5:7).
The 66-book volume making up the Old and New Testaments of the Authorized King James Version of the Bible is the inerrant, God-inspired, preserved written word of God for English-speaking people (Ps 12:6-7; Ps 119:89; Mat 24:35; 2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:21).
Man was created in God's image (Gen 1:27), but willfully sinned against God (Gen 3:1-6), thereby dying both spiritually and physically (Gen 2:17; Gen 5:5). All of mankind is born in a fallen, sinful state and are sinners both by birth (Ps 58:3) and by choice (Rom 3:9; Rom 5:12), requiring the grace and mercy of God (Eph 2:8-9) to avoid eternal damnation and separation from God in a literal lake of fire called Hell (Mat 13:42, 50; Mat 18:8-9; Rev 20:14-15).
Jesus Christ, the virgin-born and sinless Son of God (1 Pet 3:18; 1 Pet 2:22; 2 Cor 5:21; 1 Jn 3:5) died a substitutionary death for all mankind, shedding His own blood to pay for our sins (Mat 26:28; Mk 14:24; Lk 22:20) and to establish His church (Acts 20:28; Eph 5:23).
Once saved (i.e., born again (Jn 3:3,7)), a person then should be water baptized by immersion to picture the new christian's death and burial of the old sinful man and the resurrection of the new man (Acts 2:41; Acts 8:12; Acts 16:30-33; 1 Pet 3:21). Salvation, followed by immersive baptism, are the requirements for local church membership (Acts 2:41, 47). Each born-again believer needs to attend and be active in a bible-believing local Baptist church (Heb 10:25).
The Lord Jesus Christ is returning to receive His church. This return is physical, pretribulational, premillennial, and imminent (Jn 14:2-3; Acts 1:11; 1 Ths 1:10; 1 Ths 4:15-17; Tit 2:13).
Once born again by the grace of God, a person is eternally secure in that salvation (Eph 4:30; Jn 10:29; 2 Tim 1:12; 1 Jn 5:13).
The local church of Jesus Christ has two offices, pastor and deacons (1 Tim 3:1-13; Phi 1:1; Acts 6:3), and observes two ordinances, baptism (Acts 2:41) and the Lord's supper (Lk 22:19-20; 1 Cor 11:24-34).
We believe that the fulfillment of the Great commission is the responsibility of all believers!
